With Vivien Ellis and the choir of the Parish church of St Mary Magdalene, the music of medieval English nuns will resound in this very historic church.
Performing in Lizzie Gutteridge’s lovely series of early music events is always a pleasure. The church is a gorgeous venue and very reachable by train, being pretty close to Marks Tey station. Local singers will take part in this concert with me, singing carol refrains and plainchant and bringing me joy!
